Back By Popular Demand

The Durham Medical Orchestra is excited to announce that because of the popularity of the “Cook With Our Conductor” series, we will continue the classes in 2021.

These virtual cooking classes are led by Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant, artistic director and conductor of the Durham Medical Orchestra. Verena, a native of Austria, will teach you via Zoom how to bake a braided traditional bread made with delicious, slightly sweetened yeast dough.

This is your chance to reconnect with Verena and other orchestra musicians until we can meet in concert again. And your contribution will support the orchestra’s work, such as the virtual music projects that we’ll be sharing with you in the coming months.

Dates and Details

Sunday, March 21, 2021, 1pm EST via Zoom: A TRADITIONAL OSTERSTRIEZEL — a traditional bread made with a delicious slightly sweetened yeast dough that is beautifully braided. You can serve it with just butter or marmalade or honey.

A list of necessary ingredients and tools will be sent via email the Monday before the actual event.

Thank you for supporting the Durham Medical Orchestra with your participation. We are looking forward to cooking and baking with you!
