The Durham Medical Orchestra is accepting new members for Spring 2020. Email personnel@dmomusic.org or director@dmomusic.org to schedule your audition. Auditions will be held on August 24, 2019.
Audition details
To audition for the DMO, follow these four steps.
1: Sign up for a time slot at this link. (If none of the time slots work for you, please email director@dmomusic.org or personnel@dmomusic.org.)
2: Complete this form with your details.
3: Please mark your calendars with your audition time.
Auditions will be held in Dr. Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant’s office (08) in the Biddle Music Building (113 Mary Duke Biddle Music Bldg, Durham, NC 27708).
When you enter the Biddle Music Building, take the stairs on your right down one level, enter through the glass doors on your left, turn right and right again at the end of the hallway. Dr. Mösenbichler-Bryant’s office is the first one on your left.
Please unpack your instruments and warm up before you enter for your audition. Practice rooms are located just around the corner from Dr. Mösenbichler-Bryant’s office and free to use if they are empty and unlocked.
4: For the audition, please prepare a 3-4 minute piece/example(s) that demonstrates your best playing ability.
