Join us for a profound collaboration with The Duke Chorale and SONAM (Singers of New & Ancient Music), as we bring Harmony & Healing together. On the program:

  • The Sacred Veil by Eric Whitacre
  • “Dirge for Two Veterans” from Dona Nobis Pacem by Ralph Vaughan-Williams
  • “Benedictus” from Missa L’homme arme by Karl Jenkins
  • “Psalm 150” from Gloria by Karl Jenkins

The evening will take you on a journey through the experiences of a cancer patient, the loss of a mother and wife, a funeral cortège for a father and son who fell in battle, and a Mass for Peace. These challenging yet genuine topics will be explored and processed through the transformative power of music. Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the beauty and depth of the human experience through the art of sound.

Thank you to our collaborators, who will have tables in the lobby: Duke Cancer Patient Support Program, Caring House, Growing Thru Grief, and Duke Hospice Bereavement Services.
